Visitor Code of Conduct
Respect for Monastic Practice
- Monks are engaged in serious Dhamma study and meditation.
- Visitors are requested to maintain noble silence at all times.
- If it is absolutely necessary to speak, please do so softly and respectfully.
- As the area is compact, sound carries easily—please be mindful of your movements and voice.
Areas Open to Visitors
- Pay respects at the Stupa
- Sit or meditate quietly near the Bodhi Tree
- Pindapāta: 7:30 AM (near Bodhi Tree)
- Sanghadāna: 8:00 AM (Aryamoon Hall)
Restricted Areas (Strictly No Entry)
- Guruji’s kuti to Administrative Block
- All monks’ kutis and residences
- Any non-designated area
These areas are reserved for private monastic practice.
Behavioral Expectations
- No loud talking, gossiping, singing, or running
- Phones must be silent or switched off
- No photography without permission
- Do not cross monks’ seating area in the Stupa
- Offerings (flowers, candles, and incense) may be made at Bodhi Tree or Aryamoon Hall
Attire and Conduct
- Wear modest clothing (shoulders & knees covered)
- Simple, light attire preferred
- Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times.
